Fees, Funding and Term Information

At St Peter Chanel Pre-School, we are committed to providing high-quality early education that is both affordable and transparent. Below is a breakdown of our current fees and funding arrangements.

We are open for 38 weeks of the year (during school term times)

Funded Hours

We deliver all eligible funded hours free of charge, with no additional fees or hidden extras.

• 2-Year-Old Funding

  Eligible 2-year-olds are entitled to funded places. Any additional hours above the funded entitlement are charged at £9.40 per hour.

• 3 & 4-Year-Old Funding

  All 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to a minimum of 15 funded hours per week, with many eligible for up to 30 hours.

  Any hours taken above the funded entitlement will be charged at £7.50 per hour.

We do not charge top-up fees on funded hours. Charges only apply to hours beyond a child’s funded entitlement.

Additional Charges

• Lunch Cover (30 mins extra time for AM or PM session children):

  Charged at the standard hourly rate applicable to your child’s age group.

• Lunch Options:

  • Cooked Lunch: £2.10 per meal (managed via the SchoolGrid online account).

  • Packed Lunch: Parents may provide a packed lunch as an alternative.
